Oh yeah, this time of year I want /think about the cooler days with sweaters, apples and tea mugs.
The street lights in the gathering gloom is a nice touch

This seems so cozy and lonely at the same time.

I just bought Rainy Day! So excited. I've been a fan for a while and have gotten prints from Etsy but never had the opportunity to own one of your originals until now. I love it....the blue colors, the girl and her socks, the rain, the kitty! : )

Yelena, I love your illustrations so much! I love all the little patterns you draw, they are gorgeous!
I was just wondering how you manage to draw all those little detail in such small illustrations (I noticed the size of the paper you use is 5"... super small!).

Regards from your chilean fan,

camila,
thank you! i am actually most comfortable with working very small. if the paper is too big i get anxious and confused and impatient! i use very fine pen and brushes :)

Your paintings are sweet and nostalgic, kinda in the same way Wes Anderson movies are like story books. Comforting and cozy. <3
