mata hari

an illustration for the extra-beautiful new issue of lone wolf magazine. mata hari has been on my to-draw list for ages! thanks again to natalia for another dream assignment.

there's also an interview with me on ten paces and draw today - thanks to my former MICA classmate alyssa nassner for the feature!

Oh I love this illustration, she's beautiful. I really enjoyed reading your interview too and I'm the same about needing a neat and tidy place to work in, my mind won't be calm and focused otherwise!

Hi Yelena, your artwork is completely gorgeus. I'm in love! What kind of ink (pen) are you using that is not mixing with watercolour after dry? I'm puzzled because mine always gets washed. (I don't know if I've written everything correct, I'm Polish :) pozdrowienia z Polski!!!
