in the months leading up to the release of fairytale food, i will share some of my favorite illustrations from the book. snow white's look was inspired by the illustrations of theodor hosemann in the 1852 icelandic edition of the fairytale, mjallhvít.

I'm slowly removing Disney's Snow White image from my head. I love her long black hair, white dress, and how she is setting the table for her dwarf companions.
